For Parents and Young Performers
Supporting Performance Confidence!
Managing nerves, building self-belief and learning to perform under pressure are just as important as learning skills and technique.
The Confidence Factory provides practical resources and tailored workshops to help parents and young performers with support while developing the mindset and confidence to perform at their best.
Bespoke Workshops are designed specifically for both parents and performers needs. Contact Jo and discuss what you would like to address in these individual sessions.Â
The Confidence Journal allows young performers to work through their specific concerns. Written in alignment with the Performance Confidence Course and Workshops, it reinforces what they have learnt from teachers, while allowing students to add what is of concern while maintaining privacy.
The Performance Confidence Course is a 6 to 8 week course that is designed to work through mindset and practical tools step by step while preparing for a performance coming up in 6-8 weeks.
WHY CONFIDENCE MATTERS
Many students believe confidence is something you either have or you don't.
In reality, confidence can be developed.
When students learn to recognise their thinking patterns, reflect on their experiences and focus on preparation, they often become more resilient performers.
These resources are designed to support those conversations in practical, age-appropriate ways.

In this workshop you will learn:
👉 Why performance anxiety happens when we are being observed or evaluated
👉 How our thinking patterns influence confidence
👉 How the brain forms pathways that shape our responses to pressure
👉 Why confidence is something that can be developed rather than something a child either has or doesn’t have.
